Cool, Clear Living Water

We have been on the road for a month now.  I wanted to share the top ten insights I have had about RV living with horses.  As I started making a list in my mind, I realized that most of those things had to do with one thing:
  WATER!

Water for us, Water for the horses.  It's use:  hydration, cooking, cleaning--dishes, utensils, clothes, surfaces, and us...including wounds.  It's quantity, quality, location, and proximity.  Then what to do with it after use.  Disposing of the black and grey water...where? when? how?

We have been in places where the quantity was non-existent except what we had on board.  Great location, proximity, and quality.  Other places had water in quantity and close proximity, but the location made it impossible to reach.  You really need all four conditions:  quantity, quality, location, and proximity.

What an amazing, essential substance is water!

What is more amazing is the Living Water, Jesus!  When we thirst for Him and turn to Him for refreshment he becomes--IN us (close proximity)--a fountain.  ("Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them."  John 7:38)  The quality is superb!  The quantity is never ending!  The location can't be more accessible!  It cleanses way deeper than skin, making us whiter than snow. It  refreshes not only our thirsty soul but our mind, spirit and emotions as well.  Even more amazing, after use, it is still pure, cool, clear, amazing Living Water that we can share with others to cleanse and refersh and heal them!

Have you had your drink of the Living Water Today?

For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd: 'he will lead them to springs of living water.'  'And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes'"  Revelation 7:17  NIV

Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water."  John 4:10 NIV
