There is Such a Thing as Routine

Sunrise at the 7th green
I was just realizing I have not posted for a while.
It seems I have gotten into a bit of a routine, here in Ajo.  I sleep in until the sun wakes me up.  Then I spend a wonderful time with the Lord in prayer.  After a quick breakfast (usually a smoothie) it's out for a long walk (usually 50 minutes.)  It is about 2.5 miles and between 5000 and 6000 steps on my pedometer.  When I get back
I spend about an hour practicing the guitar and/or writing and/or working on the computer (getting ready for taxes you know).  Lunch with Dave is usually after noon.  Then, which ever of those three tasks, I haven't finished from the morning, I work on until about 3 or 4 o'clock.  At that time Dave and I go out and shoot 9 holes of golf and I get another 5000+ steps on my pedometer making 10,000 for the day. (I broke 60 on the course on my birthday!...I know you other golfer's are

laughing but it was quite a feat for me!)  When we come back in, I fix us some supper.  Dave does dishes while I play guitar again for a while, then we often watch a dvd or talk or play some games.  (I espeicially enjoys "Bananas" (Thanks Candace!)  It is similar to "Scrabble" without the board and Dave and I are pretty well match so it is anybody's guess who will win each time.  Around about 11PM I do my night routines including reading my Bible and devotional and hopefully find some sleep before midnight.
So I can't say we have anything real exciting to share.
It is interesting however, that even in the dailiness of life--or especially in the dailiness of life--that God is still there and still leading, guiding, and providing.  Hallelujah!
